 Ayala Hanen ManolsonM.Sc. SLP, FounderAyala Manolson revolutionized the world of speech and language intervention by involving parents and caregivers in early communication programs for language-delayed children. She is the author and creator of "It Takes Two To Talk" and "You Make the Difference in Helping Your Child Learn" - two widely used parenting programs. In founding First Three Years, Ayala continues her vision by developing programs and resources which strengthen the early parent-child relationship — the vital precursor to language and learning. Barbara MacKay WardM.Ed. , Co-DirectorBarb has over 20 years experience managing specialized preschool programs in Toronto. She collaborated with Ayala in the development of the 'You Make the Difference' parent program, resources and training. Barb also consults to children's educational television. Claire WatsonM.Sc. SLP, Co-DirectorClaire has devoted her career to supporting parents and professionals in the area of parent-child communication, including 12 years collaborating with Ayala in the development of 'It Takes Two Two Talk' and 'You Make the Difference' professional training and resources. Claire is also a trained psychotherapist.
